Zaragoza, 10 june 2021
The project is led by Enagas and the startup e4efficiency, along with Ariema Enerxia and the UniFood Group. The main goal is to use the residual cold from liquefied natural gas (LNG) to refrigerate food through the development of a deep freeze warehouse. A percentage of this cryogenic energy will be converted into other forms of energy for the production of distilled water and hydrogen, which will be stored in our light carbon fiber cylinders, selected for their low weight and excellent properties. The project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Industrial Technological Development Centre (CDTI).
